FOLLOW YOUR OWN PATH

Your heart knows the way. Run in that direction.
Rumi

If you find it difficult to tell others no when they ask you for something, you may be a people pleaser.

Many people pleasers prefer making up excuses later to get out of a commitment instead of saying no from the start.

If you do follow through, you can regret not having the strength to stand up for yourself.

Luke 10: 40-41 – But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked.

Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!“

Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed or indeed only one.

Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.

People-pleasers are known for doing whatever it takes to make other people happy. Being kind and helpful is generally a good thing

But going too far to please others can leave you feeling emotionally depleted, stressed, and bridge you from following your map which can lead to a harmful pattern of fulfilling your destiny

It takes courage and tenacity, a steadfast work ethic, an ironclad will, the sincerest passion, clarity of vision to take your path

It takes courage to not compromise. Because when you try to be different you are alone in that. You yourself discover your paths. You yourself take your decisions. You have no one who can show your own path.

The courage lies in doing what you think is right and what you love to do no matter what ANYONE else may do or say.

Many people are where they are today because of what people may say about them. Funny enough, people will definitely say! Martha later complained about Mary but success are in her path

Take the best path now. It’s 2022
Today is the tomorrow you pray about yesterday

  1. When we are firm in the ways of God and not our own will the path is not a popular one, but many Blessings come to the obedient. The path of old which many prophet’s followed always ended them in the good grace of God. It will do the same for us without compromise. You are so right when you say do not be a people pleaser…….. we only become a shadow of ourselves when we look for others approval and not Gods. Have a Blessed Day.
