PENNING A POEM FOR MY MOMS BURIAL TODAY

(30th Nov 2021) – (She died on 24th Oct 2021) at the (Age of 74)

MOTHER In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.

MY MOM IS FREE! LET HER GO!!!

Why cry for a soul set free? For death has been swallowed up in victory

Don’t grieve for her, for now she free

She is following the path God laid for her.

She took Gods hand when she heard Him call

She turned her back and left it all.

She could not stay another day, to laugh, To love, to work or play.

Tasks undone must stay that way

She have found that peace at the close of the day.

If parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow

Remember the love that once we shared, miss her, but let her go

For this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone

It’s all part of the master plan

Her wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow.

Her life’s been full, She savoured much

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps her time seemed all too brief

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your hearts and share with her

God wants her now, goodbye mom

I will forever miss you until we meet to path no more

Rest in paradise beautiful soul
