Gone so soon, born 2-6-1953 and died 24-10-2021 _ 68years.

Somewhere in my heart beneath all my grief, pain and sorrow

Is a smile I still wear at the sound of your dear name sweet mother

The precious word is ‘MOTHER’, she was my world you see

But now my heart is breaking cause she’s no longer here with me.

God chose her for His angel to watch me from above

To guide me and advise me and know that I’m still loved.

The day she had to leave me when her life on earth was through

God had better plans for her, for this, I surely knew.

When I think of her kind heart and all those loving years

My memories surround me and I can’t hold back the tears.

She truly was my best friend, someone I could confide in

She always had a tender touch and a warm and gentle grin.

I want to thank you Mother for teaching me so well

And though the time has come that I must bid you this farewell.

I’ll remember all you’ve taught me and make you proud you’ll see.

Thank you my Dear Mother for all the love you showed me.

Although you’ve left this earth and now you’ve taken flight

Mama has gone home because God needed a hero and pick her up

I know you did not die, you have transformed from glory to glory

Farewell well mom, I will forever love you, until we meet to part no more

Rest in paradise

  2. Such a loss for you Dear Friend, I am praying for you and your family in such a sorrowful time. BUT GOD as you know has her in His loving care where she will one day be reunited with you once again and all who loved the Lord as she did. His promises never fail and you can be sure the day you are together again it will seem as though no time has passed at all.
I see you in her face, such a sweet lady. I will not say as many do that time heals all wounds, because my mother has been gone for 28 years and there are still days I think to go to the phone to call her when I need her or to share something. There is just no replacement for the love of a Mother or Father!!!!!!!
God Bless and keep you Always. YOU ARE LOVED!

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. (Psalm 34:18).

      • Take comfort in these words (John 5:24-28). Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice!

  3. Beautiful words spoken right from the heart. Your mother left a legacy with you, and she did a very good job raising you to be who you are today. I am certain she’s proud of you, and I for one am great full that she raised you so. You always bring me stern words of wisdom. I appreciate each and every word as they also speak life and strength. Thank you and nay God bring you comfort one day at a time stay Blessed.

  4. Your mum’s demise brought back tears that have been hanging after the demise of my dad. It rushed down while I read the poem about your mum. May God rest her soul with the faithful departed. May God give you the strength to live on. It is well.
