TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE

Always pray for the grace of God, so that you can do the impossible. As a human, there are some offenses we cannot forgive on our own. But we must, I mean we must forgive because it’s God character.

Our lives must resemble that of our father. We deserve no forgiveness when God did it for us through Christ Jesus.

Psychologists generally define forgiveness as a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you, regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness.

Equipping yourself with the knowledge of who you are or knowledge of purpose gives you energy to do the impossible. Application of knowledge is wisdom

You must forgive because it is Gods character, I choose to forgive all the people who hurt me, sycophancies, back stabbed me, deceived me, broke my trust and made me cry.

I choose to forgive you all so that I can finally get rid of all the pain and resentment that lives with me constantly because of all that I endured in the past.

I choose to forgive you because I don’t want to linger on my past anymore and ruin the rest of my life. I want to be happy and peaceful.

Do the same as well, because to forgive is Divine. You can’t travel to yesterday but you can create your future, stay focus.

If you must know, those you think that they hurt you yesterday are your life practical teachers.

When you read a book, you read it theory, and after all, you meet with people with practical lesson, so forgive them and move on.

  2. Yes it is divine and that’s why it’s such a hard thing for us humans but quite liberating isn’t it. Forgiveness I’ve come to learn is more for the benefit of the one doing the forgiving than the one being forgiven. Good post. Thanks 🙏🏽

  3. This subject was such a needful one for many of us! There is nothing more freeing than to forgive another. Afterall scripture teaches us that if we do not forgive others then God will not forgive us. (Matthew 6:12-15). Stay strong Always.

Well put as you mentioned sometimes extending forgiveness is very hard to do. Ive learned and continue to learn that those are the times we really must forgive and completely let go. I’ve also learned through trial and error that when we forgive it’s good for us to pray for them and speak words of life as well. Thank you once again for always bringing a good word.
