WHY DO YOU SERVE GOD?

We serve God because He is our father and we have to! God, by definition, is infinite in all of his attributes. God’s requirement that we serve him, because it’s always his intention to make us his sons and daughters, obviously, not for his benefit; rather, it is for ours. God is love, he wants the best for us. Our true contentment will be found only in living for him, as you know nothing succeed outside it’s source

Genuine service cannot be separated from love. We can go through the motions of serving God, but if our hearts are not in it we’re missing the point. First Corinthians 13 makes it clear that, unless our service is rooted in love, it’s meaningless. Serving God out of a sense of obligation or duty, apart from love for God, is not what He desires. Rather, serving God should be our natural, love-filled response to Him who loved us first (see 1 John 4:9–11).

Those who serve God for things end up as a slave to things! But those who pursue God because they love Him ends up as stars! The three Hebrew men said, even if God refuses to save us we will not bow to this image!

Don’t go to church because you need things but because you love God! And remember we serve God by serving others. Matthew 25:40 The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
