GET RID OF POTENTIAL KILLER

According to my potential analogy, potential can be described as God’s gift or the seed you contain on the inside of you. Potential is a mystery, it’s hidden in man and If you ignore your natural talent, and only focus on finding a job that you are passionate about, you won’t reach your true potential. You will not make a great contribution to society, and we will not get to see your unique masterpiece.

Great destinies have been aborted and such people who bear such destinies frustrated and ended up as vagabonds. Potential killers are characters, habit, behaviours, manners or attitudes that can destroy your talents. From you or from toxic people, It can be something that are capable of stopping you from becoming what God want you to be.

Please note, when you are clamour to be someone else who are unlashing his or her own potential, you have to understand that not all of us are ordained to be Priest, (Pastors), Prophets or Apostles. Some were ordained to be business men like Abraham; some were ordained as politicians like Joseph and Daniel while some were anointed as artisans like Bezaleel etc.

In many ways, it takes mental strength or positive stubborn to unleash your potential. How do you think John the Baptist confronted Herod if not positive stubborn; some ministers of gospel Preached to brutal politicians and Governors at the gun point. Those who are crazy enough in our world are mostly the world changers. They are the Innovators that shape our world.

There is a reason why i always tell you to never stay in a place people bordering you with the message of pride in what ever thing you do. They will kill your potential as experience is the best lecturer. I have stayed long in the congregation where every action you take is nicknamed pride; i was converted to develop one kind of fear in everything i want to do so that i will not be tagged as a pride.

Hear me, if you don’t take pride on yourself and in what you are doing, you will be limited. You will end up doing things to please people around you which will not be a help to play a high character. When you come to see it, you notice that naysayers are many, champions are few. Naysayers are fire extinguisher!

The mentality of the lion and sheep are not the same. Lion is leaders and sheep are followers; sheep will follow you even though you are leading them to the slaughter land. But lions have choice, lions stand out and alone. Eagles are the king of all the bird and can never lower to the standard of chicken. Eagles fly alone.

The beauty of life is, while we cannot undo what is done, we can see it, understand it, learn from it and change so that every new moment is spent not in regret, guilt, fear or anger but in wisdom, understanding and love.

Success does not come to you by just dreaming, praying, and hoping for it. No matter how hard you pray for success, it will not come to you unless you work hard for it. To achieve what you want, you need to exert effort and strength of both the body and the mind. Destiny and Luck can’t guarantee the success you want. What you need is a ton of hard work, determination, and discipline to achieve what you want.

When people throw you stones, it’s because you are a good fruit, they surely see a lot of harvest in you and wants to tap by destroying it out of jealousy. Don’t go down to their level by throwing them back the stones, but throw them your fruits so the seeds of your harvest may inspire them to change their ways. Sometimes people we tag as enemies are only there because time to mend their ways has come and could happen through us. We only need to be wise in dealing with them.

THIS ARE FIVE ENEMY THAT KILLS YOUR FUTURE POTENTIAL.

1. Procrastination

Procrastination and laziness is good friend. They are thief of enviable future, it advises you to remain in your comfort zone since you can eat well as if you are created to eat. Procrastination can make you to go to hustling at the old age when your bone is no longer strong. It will not remind you that the strength you have now will start diminishing from 45 years down. The greatest mistake a person can make is procrastination. It is a major hurdle towards success and a tempting one as well. Putting off today’s work for tomorrow causes work to pile up and stress to build. In these conditions, a person cannot have peace of mind and focus so his output would also decrease leading to achieving less in more time. These causes you to miss chances you could otherwise take up, brings down your reputation as you don’t submit the tasks at the required deadline. Many potential is buried in grave yard because of inability to act quickly

2. Staying stagnant

Never stop hunger for more. Where you stop is where God is going to stop. Keep on enhancing your capacity, even when you get to the peak, you need to diversify or dry and start growing again. Failing to do so, inner combustor will take place, you will begin to implore instead of exploring. When you have achieved something you should never become complacent and think that you have done enough and that you should now relax. Life conditions are ever changing and if you stay at one place without trying to achieve anything you will be left behind and will fail to keep the goals you have achieved. Remember; it’s easy to achieve your goals but it’s harder to maintain them and it’s even harder to set higher goals and achieve them as well.

3. Spending mindlessly

Living without saves is like get ready to die anytime. If Joseph did not make saves, tragedy would have happened in the time of famine. Spending without saving or spending without keeping a record of it is one of the sure-fire ways to destroy your future. You should always have some money saved up so that you can counter the hurdles life throws at you unexpectedly and you don’t have to rely on anyone else. It is advisable to have at least a month’s salary’s worth of money saved up so that if one month you have some unexpected problem you can compensate for it and don’t have. Do not spend money because you have it or because things are cheap; spend money because it is in your budget. I can grantee you that many people kill the potential of their children because they don’t have money to send them to school to enhance their capacity.

4. Neglecting your body

Health is one of the greatest treasures of life and it is important to take care of it. Hospitals and medicine are expensive and with your body out of action focusing on work would be difficult. There would be problems with meeting the expenses. In this case, prevention is better than cure. You should have regular check-ups so that you can nip the problem in the bud and continue working as usual and unleashing your potential. Secondly excises, it keeps you away from unnecessary sickness at the old age and you will be strong.

5. Giving away your power

God created a man and gave him what is called will power. When you encounter hardships in your life there will be many instances where you would not let someone else to make your decisions for you as it would not be an easier choice. However, giving up the right to decide what to do in life is not good. If you do this once you will do it whenever the going gets tough. In the end the other person would be using you to achieve his goals by making your life’s decisions the way they suit them not the way it is beneficial for you. Stand in your will according to the music that is playing on the inside of you
